Fluor HR Generalist, Senior in Uganda

Job Description:

Provides HR services in a variety of HR functional areas, which may include staffing, employee relations, performance management, HR policy implementation, compensation & benefits administration and related functions. Typically serves as either the sole HR representative at a specific location or within an HR team at a larger location. May function as a group participant on special human resources projects. Performs routine and more complex human resources projects. Interfaces with groups inside and outside the organization. May assist in coordinating the work activity of subordinate HR staff and HR administrative assistants. Administers all applicable personnel policies and procedures affecting project employees.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.

TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.

To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.

Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
