Fluor Cost Supervisor in Honduras
Provides guidance and supervises the work of subordinate Senior Cost Specialists and Cost Specialists.
Utilizes widely diversified knowledge of project controls activities, and draws upon his/her extensive
experience and exposure to various types of projects and clients. Provides specialized assistance to the
site project controls team for the resolution of difficult and complex project cost control reporting
problems. Interfaces with clients, attends regular meetings, and provides statistical reports. May
participate in a team of Project Control Experts who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast
project costs, as well as performance against established schedules. Assesses the impact(s) of
design/construction changes for cost. Reviews the mitigating measures recommended by the project
management team and provides input and recommendations on regular basis. May develop and deliver
presentations on a regular basis as required to senior management of both Fluor and the client.
Supervises the implementation and maintenance of project controls monitoring tools and systems. Keeps
project and company management fully informed.
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with
the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to
project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.
To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will
possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as
necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
