Fluor Materials Control Specialist I in Afghanistan
Provides functional Support CIF operations. performs a variety of duties to store and distribute material. Tasks may include counting. ground-guiding, built pallet & receiving and verifying material from DHL, UPS, FED EX, CRP and FLIGHT LINEP, Properly identifies and interprets information provided on material labels, tags, Rotates stock as necessary to ensure product is allocated for use in accordance with proper facility storage and rotation procedures.
Provides functional and administrative support within the Materials Control function as assigned. Coordinates material requirements and delivery schedules with functional and project management; communicates status updates and change requests as required. Reviews work schedules, inventory levels, material requisitions and delivery status to ensure necessary supplies of material and supplies at supported locations when needed. Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates, according to priorities and material availability. Examines material delivered to verify conformance to
specifications. Arranges transfer of materials to meet schedules. May provide guidance to less experienced personnel as assigned. Maintains accuracy of information in computerized records, such as material inventory, in-process reports, and status and location of materials.
