Job Description:
Fluor is seeking candidates for opportunities within our Program Delivery Support (PDS) team, working alongside the California High-Speed Rail Authority, to provide program delivery and program management services for one of the largest planned infrastructure projects in the U.S.
The system will connect the 500-mile stretch between the Los Angeles region with the San Francisco Bay Area, with up to 24 stations. The first phase of the program is currently under construction in California’s Central Valley.
Project Manager will support the Authority with oversight for the Track and System contracts so that quality, safety, schedule, and cost performance goals are met, which may include administration, facilitating communication between the Authority and contractors, and providing logistical support for the Program’s success.
• Perform administrative oversight of contractors in documenting delays and progress issues.
• Support activities include reviewing and providing recommendations on schedule de-risking, facilitating focus workshops on key issues such as submittal reviews and third-party interfaces.
• Coordinate and report Contractor’s performance and provide guidance and standardization for reporting consistency.
• Commence planning for construction railroad operations.
• Support the development of policies and procedures related to these contracts.
• Attend coordination meetings and stakeholder interface meetings.
• Adhere to established quality procedures and processes.
