Job Description:

Fluor is seeking candidates for opportunities within our Program Delivery Support (PDS) team, working alongside the California High-Speed Rail Authority, to provide program delivery and program management services for one of the largest planned infrastructure projects in the U.S.

The system will connect the 500-mile stretch between the Los Angeles region with the San Francisco Bay Area, with up to 24 stations. The first phase of the program is currently under construction in California’s Central Valley.

Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer and the Project Financial Director, serves as the Capital Financial Manager.

• Month and quarter-end Finance and Administration reporting owning specific areas of analysis and being a back-up/reviewer for others

• Off-cycle conducts continual process improvements on all processes owned. Also, documents areas of responsibility

• Participates in developing new analysis and reporting processes

• Assist FINO management with coordination and resolution of financial system reconciliations and other ad hoc projects as directed

• Coordinate the monthly project delivery financial reporting process, ensuring project data is accurate and reported in a timely manner

• Maintain monthly contingency tracking and other specific duties as assigned

• Coordinate closely with the Risk Management Office/Program Controls Office regarding the financial management of the Baseline and forecasts. This includes resolving issues that impact financial reporting and ensuring baseline reporting gives a transparent assessment of the status of the baseline and the activity that has occurred

• Interact and communicate effectively with executive management as well program staff

• Understand the touchpoints between program delivery and finance

• Identify issues and impacts, communicate the ramifications to both finance and program deliver management, coordinate and lead the resolution of these issues

• Manage an accounting team tasked with supporting a mega infrastructure program
