Fluor Maintenance Technician I in Radford, Virginia
This is an entry level position operating under a working supervision in the construction engineering department. The purpose of this position is to provide support for construction crew in various tasks. This position has minimal or no experience connecting textbook knowledge to practice.
Assist construction team with general laborer activities, such as touch up paint, debris removal, sweeping, general maintenance work.
Work under the supervision of a construction engineer or survey party chief to perform various assignments of a construction engineering or field engineering support nature, both technical and clerical
Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed
Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
Other duties as assigned
No previous education or years of work-related experience some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
