Job Description:

Fluor is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Superintendent to help oversee plant restart and operational readiness efforts at the REC Silicon (REC) facility in Moses Lake, WA. REC manufactures solar grade polysilicon and silane gases. This Superintendent will coordinate effective execution of all maintenance and operations support activities at the REC plant and will directly oversee four (4) union craft personnel (electrical and instrumentation skillsets). This Superintendent will also oversee the Fluor safety program at the project. Project duration is estimated to be two (2) to six (6) months in length. Weekly per diem (meals, lodging) and home visit allowance is available for non-local candidates.

• Contribute to project effectiveness by assisting with the interpretation of engineering drawings, work orders, specifications and manufacturer’s technical data materials

• Lead root-cause failure analysis teams by investigating and implementing countermeasures

• Improve service results by developing and implementing work process improvements in assigned area of responsibility

• Maintain work flow by approving completion process and stores requisitions for materials

• Ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner by coordinating daily work schedules with the customer’s operations, including personnel deployment, materials coordination, and information availability

• As directed fulfill contract and Operating System Requirements (OSR) and Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP) requirements by ensuring that the duties and responsibilities of the project contract are clearly defined, documented and followed by the Fluor team

• Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports

• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

• Daily/weekly craft employee timesheet submittal to Corporate Payroll will be required, in addition to facilitation of on-site payroll check printing to ensure on-time payment of craft personnel weekly

• Other duties as assigned
