Fluor P&G Pipe Foreman in Brown Summit, North Carolina

Job Description:

Fluor is currently in search of a Field Pipe Foreman for the Browns Summit, NC.

Responsible to lead and direct your crew on a day-to-day basis in a safe, efficient and Quality oriented manner.

Responsible for your crew's safety, and to ensure that work is performed in a safe manner by all crewmembers and that required safety items are in the work area and are used. Inform crew members of necessary safety precautions. Immediately report any injury/incident to immediate supervisor.

Maintain a clean, order work area.

Responsible to ensure proper lock-out/tag-out procedures are used.

Conduct weekly gang box safety meetings for your crew.

Plan work 2 weeks ahead and ensure that materials, tools and equipment are located and available to perform work assigned.

Direct and motivate crewmembers and be responsible for crew production. Monitor breaks and lunchtimes to ensure observance of proper timing.

Responsible to read/interpret drawings/prints to adequately direct the installation of work assigned.

Monitor all work installed for proper quality and conformance to drawing/

specifications.

Be aware of schedule requirements and ensure they are met in your area of responsibility.

Maintain accurate and timely time cards per site requirements.

Provide input to and support job schedules, estimates, plans and constructability.

Gain proper approvals before performing any additional work, or work different than shown on drawings, plans.

Ensure materials used are consistent with plans/specifications and appear to be consistent with existing or prior installations. Know status of materials, are they on order, have they been delivered and where they are stored.

Be dependable, to work on time, and notify Supervisor of any absences.

Must have experience with Sanitary Quality
